I think it's a conspiracy. Tell everyone to aim the clubface at the target, thereby ruining the chances of hitting the correct shot, thereby encouraging folks to seek lessons and new sticks.

The true ball flight laws tell us that a push-draw (G) is a result of an open clubface with a swing path that's more inside-out than the clubface is open. For example, if the clubface is 3° open at impact but the swing path is 6° inside-out, the ball will start right (open clubface relative to the target) and curve left (closed clubface relative to the swing path).

That's the shot Luke hit, his feel is what made him not return the clubface to exactly at that flag.

Either way, I'd have either pushed it OOB or hooked it into the left bunker...

or thinned it......

The new ball flight laws are indisputeable as they have been proven by both high speed camera and mathmatics. Luke like so many top class golfers can hit great shots and shape the ball at will, they don't do what they tell us they do though. Luke lives and plays in the USA, he went to college to study golf there and as such was taught by the USA PGA, who still teach the wrong method.
