Just got my first ever Handicap

Well, at the ag of 51 & after playing sine mid July, I put my 3x cards in yesterday & today I was issued with my first ever Handicap of 22, gulp I thought it would be a bit higher than that, but hay ho at least I can now carry on practicing through the winter & enter a few comps come the spring.

Congratulations. I got my first handicap a few weeks ago and haven't played anywhere near it in competition so far. My only piece of advice would be take your time on your shots and don't feel rushed because it's a competition.

Well done. I remember getting my first H/c. Thought I would get a nice high one. They gave me 14. Never managed to play to it though.
