Why, when I'm doing 30 in a 30 zone, do gits in BMW's/Mercs/Audis overtake me and then sit in front going 30 in a 30 zone?

What's that all about?

Oh and idiot Learner drivers who think they can ram the kerb on their 3 point turn and hope to pass their test!
Give me strength.........

Anyone who owns a BMW/Merc/Audi and thinks it's acceptable to park right outside the doors of Bluewater. There's no painted spaces there but it's OK, you've purchased a nice car so park where you like.

Anyone who parks in a parent and baby space and yes, they do have children but they're 16!!! Meanwhile, I've been forced to park in a space smaller than a gnat's chaff and I'm expected to get my two under fives out without banging the car next to mine. Ain't gonna happen. :(

those who use the rug-rat rule at airports to get their hoard of squabbling 8 - 14 year olds through first - and disperse them throughout the cabin as far away from them as possible.

I wonder how many of you who are moaning about all these traffic offences moan about traffic officers? :)

One thing I absolutly despise in people is not thanking you for giving way, letting them out or pass first etc. GRRR

Hey Tony

Had an unmarked Police Vectra go through a red light at 60 today with only the Blues on!! Saw the same car parked in Tesco's car park earlier left unattended with its engine running, saw the guy in the shop buying doughnuts (honest). Got back to my car and was on the way out before he got back to it - engine running all the time. Is that accepted practice with the Constabulary? Seems odd.

It's cause they want to get past to prove they're superior but don't want a speeding ticket :)

What I want to know is this;

On a Saturday, I go on the motorway and sit at 50 mph (cruise control) in my BMW for 8 miles. This section has a) speed cameras and b) average speed checking cameras.

How come everyone overtakes me? Milk Floats and 1 litre specials alike, not to mention the 80 mph White Van Man.....

Do they all know something?

Yes, they know they have number plates the cameras can't read (I used to have one), or the plate is not registered to their address.

I take it the plates are not exactly legal?

Not one person was going as slow as me today.

My plate used to be legal, but then it grew some mankyness in it. I only found out when I parked at Heathrow and it should print your plate number on the ticket. It printed unknown instead. I subsequently failed an MOT with it.

It was useful though. I got an emergency call from the Mrs, to get an ambulance called out home as she was going into anaphylactic shock (not sure why she called me and not 999), and it enabled me to race the ambulance home (only to save the front door from damage, obviously) through an average speed camera zone at very illegal speeds with complete impunity.

Sounds like you chuck mud all over it and let some random vegetation develop (like cress or something)....

I've often been tempted to nick the plates off the same model car as me up the road. He deserves to get a few tickets.....bloomin' BMW drivers. :D :D

should really have his sirens on going through lights but if he felt no need (traffic light) then not too much an issue, cant harm to put em on though.

buying donuts, of course its allowed in the constabulary! :D

the engine running trick is a nifty piece of kit that is controlled from the MDT (mobile data terminal) called runlock. allows us to leave the engine running, remove the keys and lock the car so if we need to jump back in and rush to a grade one we dont have to mess around starting it up again.

RIGHT ...... SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME.

On a stretch of motorway with average speed cameras on it, the camera ALWAYS takes a head on shot of the vehicle .. RIGHT ????

So if some big fud on a motor bike flies through the same area they cannot be caught because they dont have front number plates.

NOW IS THIS NOT DISCRIMINATING AGAINST MOTORISTS ???
