Think it must be club dependant- in mine needs to be 2 medals off of whites, then one bounce game from yellows

Not quite how Congu see things I believe 3 cards on a course with a SSS is acceptable.

My club will accept 3 cards off yellows. I presume things are adjusted allowing for the fact they are off yellows and not whites.

SSS takes the different tees and courses into account to balance things out acroos the board.

WHat does this mean? I got sent the rules on gaining handicap as soon as I joined; said one bounce game from yellows and fellow member signed, then 2 cards from white tees on medals????

Yet another club making up their own rules. The CONGU requirement is a minimum of 3 cards played over a measured course (i.e. whites or yellows provided both have SSS) and signed by someone acceptable to the committee. Nowhere is it laid down what tees should be used or that they must be played in specific competitions.

Looks like I'm in
I'm going on holiday Sunday for a week. Then on my return the captain has arrange for me to play on the 22nd and if I like it straight into the clubhouse had over my cheque and im good to go

havent you played it before? its a nice course - id say the best local one along with Wortley, a couple of the hills are killers though
