I think we have all heard the old idiom that ignorance of the law is no defence. It should be rather unnecessary to say that ignorance of the law that you have written should definitely be no defence.

What is it may asked him at questions few weeks ago

You lot are a self righteous bunch: do the 'crime' pay the fine/time - move on with life. Its far healthier.

I hope nobody breaks the speed limit or parks illegally....

Honestly, does it really matter other than in the bubble of the media and Westminster?

Don't remember going on TV and telling everyone they must not speed and must park legally at all times
