Strange round today, started off and knocked my short tee shot into GUR, pull my second and can not find my ball, eventually we find it in a rabbits hole (free drop), under a bush, a air shot is follow by a shot on to the green, Two putts and a 6 for one.

I get back on course and finish the front nine with 18 points. But the inconsistances of a 25h/c are there.
3 putt the 10th for one point, and a drive on the 169 yard par 3 hits the bank and falls back into the water. (20 pts 11 holes) Two super shots on our 13 (SI7) gives me a birdie putt that brushes the hole, I end up 4 for four points.

I have a 6 for 2points on our difficult par 5 14th, but hit my tee shot on the 15th (island hole par3)into water, end up with a 5 for one.

16th, 436 (SI5)of the yellows, we probably played it today at 415 yards. I dont carry a driver, but the 3 wood was spacked striaght down the middle and left me approx 180 yards. I take out the 6i, right to left wind and boooom, it cuts through the wind and bounces 15 foot from the pin. The putt is left to right and it goes striaght into the middle of the cup. 3 for 5 POINTS, and my partner isn't impressed as I have just beaten him 4 and 2 in a friendly game.

I finish up with 37 points for the second week running and start to think can i get that consistancy? for only about the 3rd time I score points on every hole.

Of course we all look at what it might had been? but surely you have to look at it the other way!! well prehaps i might only hit that shot (6i on the 16th)once in in hundred?
I dont know? but i feel that very slowly i am getting that consistancy.

37 points 2 weeks on the spin is pretty consistent. However, don't you only get a free drop from a rabbit scraping if there isn't something else, like the bush you were under, also impeding your swing? In this case it sounds like you should have taken an unplayable lie under penalty of 1 shot?

Good shooting though.

:D

Double :D :D
Unless that's supposed to read SI 7 rather than S I7 then it's understandable off a 25 handicap
;)

You're probably right SI 7 would make sense.
Ang on a jiffy

If he's getting 2 shots on SI 7 that means he's getting full h/cap
