Is it wrong to have 5 pairs of golf shoes?!

I've only 3 pairs.

2 pairs of AQL's (1 of these live in my boot for the range), and a pair of DryJoy Tours.

I don't think my house is big enough for 17-19 pairs of shoes

1 pair of twenty quid dunlops from sports direct , i lost a stud thingy and bought some from the pro shop and they cost me half as much as the actual shoes , grim , not that i`m tight or anything ..lol

Footjoy Classics in yellow/white
Footjoy classics in purple/white
Addidas tech response 4.0
Addidas powerband white
Addidas ? brown
Ecco street black
Footjoy classic tour black
Stubart DC black
Nike Dunk white/blue
Church red/white/blue
Footjoy XPS1 white

So 11 pairs then.

None of which are waterproof, as far as I know, but I have not yet tried the XPS.

one pair of old Footjoy Dryjoys whoch i use for the range
3 pairs of Adidas Tour 360 (one still in the box)
1 pair of Nike Lunar's (one week old)
1 pair of Footjoy sports, won from Snainton golf and on the way to me

6 pairs, thats enough for the next couple of years, although i am keen to try out some Pumas.

Your all making me feel inadequate , i dont even own more than one pair of non golfing shoes if you dont count trainers , Sandals and boots

My wife would be delighted if I had just 5 pairs! Understandably I have acquired quite a few during my 10 years in this job, and just can't bring myself to get rid of any, although an impending house move may have some bearing on that.

Upside is that there's always at least one pair (usually more) in both mine and my wife's cars so it's almost impossible to turn up at the golf club having forgotten my shoes

I've just bought my 3rd pair due to an offer I couldn't resist linked on another thread.

1 pair of Lunars on there way for delivery tomorrow and a test run out at the weekend :D

All joking aside anyone playing more than twice a week has to have at least two pairs of shoes or they will be replacing their only pair pretty frequently and possibly playing in wet fee frequently too.
