Is golf turning boring to watch?

Currently no Sky means no Golf, unless ESPN are going to pick a bit of it up again - not that they showed much.

Last Ryder Cup I got the extra channel added to the cable package - cost about £10 for the month.
This time it's likely to be over £20, (and you have to watch the b*****s as they can make one month straddle two for charging purposes)

Tiger is the one of the few golfers I enjoy watching on the USPGA all this middle of the fairway middle of the green gets a bit tedious, Tiger is one of the few that has a bit of Seve about him, although I quite like the two Argie's Cabrera and Romero.

I agree, these players in particular Romero (Andres) i think could be a good shout for a major this year he has come close a couple of times.

Tiger has that seve feeling about him but as you say so do a lot of the Argentinian golfers.

To answer the question the golf is no more or less boring than any other year imo, it's that we are an easily bored generation that aren't really prepared to wait 4 days for the result of a sporting tournament!
Last 9 on day 4 is what we really want to watch. I however can watch the rest of it because I like watching good players play golf, besides it's better than working and I can drink beer at the same time, even if at times I fall asleep whilst it's on! :o
