Problem with Youtube/magazine tuition is that to understand what to do you first have to understand what you are currently doing.
I hit a decent ball, and some rounds it can take 9 or so holes before I realise what's going wrong in my swing.
When I first had a video lesson I was amazed at how flat my swing was, I assumed it was much more vertical than it was.
As such you need a pro to tell you what is wrong and put that right.
