I was at teh O2 last night seeing them for the umpteenth time. Another superb gig. Given their ages the energy they put into a show is unreal, and they show no signs of stopping. Anyone else caught them this tour?

Loved them when I was about 14! Went right off them shortly after when I realised they were just churning out the same stuff but getting progressively worse.

Powerslave tour - brilliant! Somewhere in time tour - worst gig ever, I went to the bar. Donington 1988 they shouldn't even have come onstage as they had no chance of following kiss.

I still like some of the early stuff, especially the first two albums but don't have any time for them nowadays...

Yep seen them in Liverpool last Saturday.

I made the mistake of not buying the new album, so apart from some of the old greats, didnt play a lot I knew.

Seen them three times, but not on the current tour. Twice way back in 1980 and the third in 2011.

Stopped listening to to them when Paul Di'anno left and Bruce took over. Picked up on their music again when I listened to A Matter of Life and Death 25 years later. Maybe because of this I don't listen to the old 'classic' stuff, but enjoy the albums from Brave New World onwards. Have a listen to The Book of Souls - some good stuff on there.

Have to say I thought Shinedown were very good as well. Maiden crowds are notoriously hard to please when it comes to support bands but I thought they put on a good show, even if the singer does prattle on a bit much between songs

No way!! That Maiden concert is well known to be one of their best ever! I even forgot Kiss were playing that day. A little known band call Guns n Roses were also on the bill, but remembered for the wrong reasons.

Kiss blew them away. I didn't even know any of the kiss songs at the time but loved it. Then maiden came on and basically fizzled out. I was bored, one of my pals actually left to go and wait in the car for the rest of us.

Fair enough. Me and around 107,000 others will agree to disagree ;)

Obviously a fair few will disagree but nothing like that many! There were 1000s of very disinterested people further back where I watched from. They had been one of my favourite bands but that gig was the end for me.
