One great ability I've found is being able to take a screenshot of what you're viewing on the iPhone. I got the tip from the free MacMost app and here's the screenshot from the app of how you do it which I've used the photobucket app to upload as a photo here.

I love my iPhone! I can now save screenshots of documents on my iDisk app for instant offline retrieval as a photo when there's no wifi or 3G coverage.....or indeed anythng else you're viewing on it. Ten out of ten for this great tip.

There are a few ways of doing it Andy but here's how I would.

Open up your Facebook mobile app. In your profile, beside where it says "what's on your mind" there's a little camera icon. Press this and the following screen pops up;-

This gives you the option to upload a photo you're just about to take from your iPhone or one you already have in your iPhone library. Simple as. You can then add a little bit about what's on your mind as usual.

Anytime. I'm here all week.

:D

I was about to order one when I found out the 4G is out in June, will wait for that.

Is it though? 'cause there is no official press release and when carphone rang to upgrade me I told them I was waiting till the new one came out and they said there wont be this one this year because apple have spent all time deveolping the ipad!

The last two years Apple have released a new version. Google it, it will be out this year just in time for the people on 24 month contracts with the 3G phone.

Yeah I am aware that they release about every 12 months but there is nothing from Apple anywhere, its all rumours and photoshopped pics from review companies.

I think the main reason is as mentioned people on the 3G are ending their 24 month contracts, they won't want to upgrade to the 3GS when the following year another phone will be released.. I can't see Apple being that slack on this.
