I went from Xs to 16 this time around.

You want 15 at least because that moves you away from lightning and that way it is 1 cable for everything going forward, and by the time you pay for 15 the 16 is just a further £100 that doesn’t make much difference at that point.

Also went with O2 now. As a Virgin Media customer you get a lot of benefits to join O2. I pay £3 more a month now but quadrupled the internet speed, got Sky Cinema and Sky Sports.
I think your right the deficit between these is too small give the supposed technology upgrades .. I am not sold on AI either, after all human intelligence isn’t that impressive and that is the starter for artificial intelligence..

Same deal for me but since I've also got Virgin for my internet I get double the data. Think I get 64GB for £8, got both me and the missus on it. The kids are £16 a month unlimited with 3.
The amount of data on most deals now is way way more than most people are going to use. According to Ofcom, the average person uses 5.6gb per month. My own average monthly usage over the last 6 months is 2.37gb.

I looked at reducing my package without moving provider. O2 offered me 20gb for £10 - less data for more money😁

I'm a bit of a technophobe and use almost no data at all - can't see the point really as if I do need the interwobble I'm almost always somewhere where I can access free wifi. Don't need to make many phone calls whilst out and about so Sim only PAYG is, for me, cheap as chips. (y)

I am a classic Luddite and technophobe.

I was perfectly happy with 1990s flip phones.
I thought they were great.

I use my mobile to call the auto club if I get a puncture
or to order pizza or Chinese take out on my way home.
Period.

I'm stuck with a "smart phone" now,
but I've never accessed the internet on it,
I've never taken a photo with it,
and I've never sent a text message.

As for the "specialty aps," other than figuring out the alarm clock, I haven't got a clue.
Further, I don't feel the least bad about it.
How on earth did you manage to get on this forum? Are you still booting your PC from a floppy disk?
