Have had an iPad for about 6 months now but just recently (the last couple of weeks or so) I'm having continual problems with losing connection whilst browsing, certain sites being worse than others, GM is one and ebay is another.

I get the "cannot connect as server can't be found" message but if I then go to another site I'm connected instantly. I'm having no issues with any other device in the house, laptops, mobiles, xboxes which are all using my wifi so I doubt it's a wifi problem.

I'm getting this with Safari and Chrome so it's not just a specific browser either

Anyone else have this problem with an iPad or is it just me and to the iPad experts on here is this a common issue or does it sound like a problem with my device.

It's really frustrating and seems to be getting worse.

Will be amazed if I can post this first time :rolleyes:

1. Go to Settings->General->Reset
2. Then select "Reset Network Settings" (this will not erase ur devices content, music, videos, email, etc. It will only erase any WiFi networks you have defined).
3. Once your device completes the action and gives you the normal home screen or Passcode screen, go ahead and power your device down and once you are sure the device is fully powered down wait an additional 60sec to allow internal components to fully discharge.
4. After the 60sec is up, power on your device again and re-add any encrypted WiFi networks you had defined.
