Quick question regarding the above.

Played in an invitational event at my local track at the weekend as part of a charity day set up by one of the members in aid of PPR cancer research.

Question. Does an invitational like this count as a qualifier? or is it just as intended, a day playing golf to raise money?

I'm going to email the club later, but was curious as to anyones experiences

Presumably it depends on the format and who is organising te event etc but in my limited experience invitation days are usually non-qualifiers.

If it is singles medal or stableford off full allowance then there is no reason why it can't be a qualifier assuming it is being run by a club. They should be able to work out the CSS and send the results back to the other home clubs.

But generally speaking, no they are treated more as 'fun days'
