Intro & Wide fit golf shoes

Hi All, I'm Chris and I have just registered here after being bitten by the golf bug. I have always fancied taking up golf as I don't have any outdoor activities and after a recent trip to Barbados where I had a few rounds on the hotels course I decided that I would explore it more when I got home. I have now got a set of clubs and all the necessary equipment and had a few tries on my local driving range but I am struggling finding a set of size 12 wide fit golf shoes that don't cost the earth. As a beginner I dont want to spend a small fortune on a set of shoes just now as I would prefer to spend money on lessons but all I can find in my size in a wide fitting are nearing the £100 mark.

Are there any reasonable priced shoes in my fitting that you could advise on

Great thanks for the reply but I should have stated that I am looking for more of a trainer sytle shoe but these look good so I will give them some thought

ive got a pair of these pal the black and white ones by far the best pair ive owned.you dont even know there on your feet.

Welcome along. Where do you play. My thoughts are that Adidas tend to come up pretty small anyway so with your giant plates you could be struggling with them. Have a look at brands like Hi-Tec, Stylo and Footjoy
