interlocking or vardon

I switched from interlocking about 10 years after starting, mainly because I could no longer get my wedding ring off easily and it felt awkward (I'm left handed)

sometimes practice with both because they each promote their own good habits for me - can hit a high fade much more easily with interlocking!!!

I grew up using interlock but switched to Vardon a while back. I can't remember when or why I did it but any time I try interlock now, it feels uncomfortable and as if I'm not in control of the club. The Vardon feels much more solid and together to me. Couldn't go back now.

I've used both grips at various times in my life. Currently using the interlocking grip since about 3 months ago. I only changed from the Vardon grip because I had a sore on my little finger which made that grip a bit painful, but actually played rather well and so decided to stick with the interlocking grip. :)

Had a weird baseball grip, with left thumb on top of the finger tips of the right hand for over 20yrs. Got down to 5 with it. Switched to the Vardon grip about 25yrs ago. Didn't make any difference

use baseball nearly all the time. sometimes interlock or overlap with the driver. depends what day of the week it is.

chipping and short game is always baseball. I want to feeeeel the club and give it the precise touch necessary for whatever shot I am about to make a mess of. ;)

Was a weird baseball grip but switched to interlocking (or as its otherwise known, the proper grip :D) some years ago, had few years with a weird finger configuration on my right hand using finger tips against the club grip but eventually got round to normal interlocking

Always been Vardon, then had a short game lesson from a Pro who went to a short game seminar with an ex european tour player, forgot his name, but he states exactly what your doing baseball grip for short game work, it's weird but works, and the results are really good although I've altered my ball position, club position and club path and creating soooo much spin, its ridiculous.
