We had incompetence last weekend

Since lockdown Nandos never deliver to us.. dunno why. We are 1.5 miles from one and 3 miles from another but "sorry don't deliver"

Found out they now do

So we put in our order..

Arrived early.. nice.. check the receipt my name all my order boom

Open it up. not a single item in there was ours lol

Complained to deliveroo got the money back but tbh it's not their fault it's Nandos they pack it.. the driver took the package with my name to my address not his fault they can't put a simple order in a bag

Anyway, to conclude. Despite what some have said, I went down the stuff 'em route and sent an new e mail as a fresh enquiry about the other part that is still required. A director no less replied. He asked for more info on the part as he was a little unsure. I supplied this info. He then responded with :-

"I have checked with the warehouse and unfortunately this spare part is no longer available as the factory has ceased production of this item.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused."

So glad I didn't pay for the item they sent by mistake whilst waiting for their tech dept to reply to respond to the e mail from their own sales team otherwise I'd be £10 out of pocket and still have a broken food processor.

PS Just in case anyone is concerned, I'll be holding the part sent to me in case they want it back. Which they can have back, no problem whatsoever.

Back AGAIN !!!!!!!!

So I went for an interview today. NHS. RDC dept. ( for info.....Regional Distribution Centre.......Stores to you and me) Did anyone know where this was????? Mostly NO. It's near the Phamacy. I was at the Phamacy. They'd never heard of it. But it's "near" you. Sorry mate. Luckilly a porter knew and escorted me to the place. We had to go outside the main building to reach it. So signs ANYWHERE. I looked as we walked. I'd have NEVER have found it. Two ladies doing the interview. You;re difficult to find. Yes, no one has heard of us.
WHAT !!!!!??????? So first test was on Excel. Three different spreadsheets with instruction what was required and to put the answers in tab four. I did the first and went to enter the answer in the fourth tab. ALL THREE ANSWERS WERE THERE!!!!! The first two were correct and I'd no idea how to do the third task (I'm self taught and had never had a reason to apply a "filter" so went with the answer given. What the hell). "Finished!" Ooooo that was quick. Yeah well easy peasy. I nearly walked out there and then.

Looks as though I won't get the job as the hours / days don't suit me. Yes I asked for this information BEFORE I ATTENDED but got no response so had to go through the rigmarole to find out. Ahh well it was only 30 mins. Nice walk there in the sunshine.

As I said I won't get the job, but rest assured an e-mail WILL BE SENT to the Chief Executive regarding this shocking interview test, and s h one t show.

That reminds me of one job interview. I had put on the form the salary I wanted. I got a phone call from the manager responsible to agree a date a time for the interview (job was 30 miles away) first in to HR to discuss some aspects then on to the manager who phoned me. Very early in the interview he comes up with " we cannot offer the salary you want" me - "well if you had said that on the phone I would not have wasted your and my time being here".
