"Didn't know you were gone" and "who are you", I hear you all cry! :D

Well, I've been sunning myself in 50 degree heat in Cyprus for two weeks (at quite easily the best hotel/resort I've ever been to - I can give details if anyone is interested).

Missed anything of note? Was trying to stay away from the Open result, as I missed it all and wanted to watch Saturday and Sunday's action "as live" tonight, but made the mistake of checking facebook when I got home last night. Oh well, will sit and enjoy the last round knowing neither Steve or Tiger managed it. ;)

Might finally get a game of golf this weekend. It's only been 2 and a half months :mad: Think I may need to revise my goals for this season.

Anyway, none of you will say it, but I know deep down I was sorely missed. ;)
 
I was just thinking this morning that I hadn't heard from you in a while. I was beginning to wonder if fitting my shafts into your irons was going to be a possibility in the autumn.. Now im just going to have to use those Titleist 710MB irons with the x100 shafts Ive just picked up. The handicap might start to go up, but boy are they pretty..

Danny - Do you need me to look after your JPX's? :D

Deke - Stayed at The Olympic Lagoon Resort just outside of Ayia Napa. It was an All inclusive jobbie, but everything was 1st class, and I'd go back without a second thought.

Did you give yourself an infraction for posting on the wrong forum in breach of the rules or do you want me to do it for you:lol:

If you are up this way and looking for a round at Belton then let me know. I will warn you in advance though, the rough is lethal at the moment.

Will do. Hopefully be up sooner rather than later. I can well imagine what the rough is like. Especially so after all the rain. That's why I prefer to play there in winter/spring! :D
 
Just looked up The Olympic Lagoon Resort,looks nice bud! I am tempted to go all inclusive when I go to Gran Canaria in November.After cancelling my Bristol trip I will heading down there in a few months,are you still up for a round at your gaff?

Of course I had my brolly with me, along with my leather/suede hat that used to be a light tan colour, but is now black.
