I've just checked IP's website, and frankly I've gone from almost liking him to once again detesting him. What a flipping show off, yeah he is a great golfer but so in your face....I mean the 'check out my garage' section pure look at me slime. Wish I'd never looked at it now.

I couldnt disagree more!!!

That is one of the best websites I have ever clapped eyes on, yeah its a bit self indulgent but to be fair to him, he does split all that stuff seperate in his "My Life" section, and if you're going to click on there then you should know what to expect.

Its not as if he has a big massive neon sign on the front page saying "check my cars out here" is it?

I think if you're going to look at the website and know even the tiniest thing about Poulter you'll surely know that it will be like him, loud colourful and OK brash but thats what he is. If you don't want in your face stuff about him and his gear etc then don't log on.

Just spent the lsat half hour or so on the site its really good..

Again dont see anything wrong with him, good to see him show/tell you what he came from to what he has now..

To be honest I wish more professional's from other sports did the same. Of course some might see it as showing off but end of the day the man worked hard on his game to get to where he is today no one can take that away and i for one love what he is doing with the site twitter etc.. Long may it continue

Have to side with the "it's a very good site" argument. I didn't used to like Ian that much, but he has worked hard on his game, and his attitude. I like what he's done, the web site is very good, I don't think it comes across as trashy/ slimy or anything negative. Yeah, there's a bit of envy, knowing that I'm never gonna own any cars like that unless I win the lottery, but hey, he earned them.

He was better at the putting tips than John Jacobs was on the DVD in my GM that arrived yesterday.........:)

Good luck to him I say.

How fickle we are as golf fans! We moan that TW doesn't have any personality and then moan that IP has too much!

I think he's great for golf in the UK. He's loud - in a good way, he's a good player (and improving) and he appears to be a nice bloke. He's a good advert for the game in my opinion.

Some of his outfits aren't to my taste (the gold lame effort he wore took some bottle) but I like him and I hope he does well this year.

at the end of the day his style does define his character, and we are all entitled to our opinions, no he's not my favourite golfer but im happy to see him looking like he does, the game needs caracter and colour so i wish him luck

I used to absolutely hate Ian Poulter, he is now one of my favourite golfers. I used to think he was an arrogant ***, now I love his attitude.

Amazing how attitudes and perceptions can change!!!

Oh, and wonderful golfer into the bargain!

The website is just too 'pink' for my liking. I don't subscribe to the 'real men wear pink' brigade. However, although he wasn't one of my picks, you can't fault his display in the last Ryder Cup, and his current form.
