Ian Poulter - Foot In Mouth

just listened to his interview and can only say that he had a good line of excuse for the apparent 'mis quote' on him and Tiger but then when asked the 2nd question about rating and respecting other players gave a statesman like round the houses answer that did not answer the question.
IMO he said exactly what was printed and now realises what a clown he is looking....he is what he is, a decent golfer but a cocky t##t who thinks he is beter than he really is..5 behind after round 1 says it all.

Well said thats what i recon, he did beat around the bush big time. Even i could of talked better nonsense than him.
 
I saw the picture in the paper of poulter naked with a Pink cobra bag infront of his prov1s.

If thats the kind of image Cobra is all about im starting to get worried about Medway Jon. Anyone else??
 
He is a fanny and always will be. But with this statement he has achieved his goal ...... column inches, increased profile and exposure. I actually loathe this muppet. He is a Beckham forgery and I hope other Pro's tar and feather the ***.

Poulter really is a plonge.

If your going to make a statement like that then you really do need to have the talent to back it up. Something he sadly lacks.

Poulter wont pose any threat to anyone in the worlds top 10 as long as he's got a hole in his arse.

Madandras assesment of him is pretty spot on - The mans a *** !!

Has Poulter quashed any chance of his inclusion in the Ryder Cup? I can't imagine that too many of his potential team mates are particularly enamoured with him and would prefer not to partner him. I can also imagine the reaction of the never overly sporting US gallery. Won't he now be a liability?

his reasoning, he can hit it strait with the driver.
this to me Say's he can only win if the course is stacked in his favour, not the sign of a top player, either is the part when he explains he has not reached his full potential yet as he has not worked hard enough.

tiger has proved he can win on any course against any of the current pros.

Tiger has nothing to prove but the self confessed lazy Poulter has it all and more to prove now and he better hurry up as he is 32 and how much longer does he think he has to reach his full potential and show the world its just him and Tiger.

This interview will haunt him i think.

Yes Poulter was misquoted, so what. As Poulter said Tiger had a golf club in hand at aged 4 (natural or nurtured) it's quite sad.

Then again I would rather be poulter right now, than a glory hunter bouncing along on the bandwagon slagging every golfer who speaks out about tiger.

I think Poulter is mediocre at best. He will never amount to much on tour as he is more concerned about his image than his performance.

Like Anna Cournikova in tennis she was famous for her look and not her tennis ability and Poulter is cut from the same polyesther cloth.

He plays the PGA tour because he loves the fame and celebrity.
