As for the vitriol spouted at Tiger.. I strongly believe we are watching golf history. In 100 years time people will be talking about this era we live in as the most increadible in our sport. They will wonder what it must have been like to actually watch the great man live. Enjoy it boys, because we are watching history being made.

no doubt, but you're not going to do that watching TV golf as the camera angles and positions are invariably wrong, fairway and rough shots (which may be the most important, at least for me) are almost always either not shown or are long (camera) shots, and you can't see much from the putting unless they superimpose the blue line.
I watch it for the competitive element, but you really need match play for that. Consequently by Sunday, with the result pre-ordained, it's switch-off time.

I watched it myself MVP and think he's trying to cover his tracks. Why do these guys give interviews whenever they know what the paper's will and can do with them. It's not as if they need the money.
