Won my first comp yesterday cant believe it, never won anything before YIPPEE

Front 9 15 points, should have been a lot more, but my chipping let me down again.

Back 9, shot 3 over gross, not bad for a twenty handicapper, 24 points

great result, you'll find it easy to get down if you have the ability. and by the sound of your back nine you definitely have that in you somewhere.

glad to hear that your officially a winner remember that next time you fat a wedge or skull a long iron, you can do this cause you've done it before.

you could be halving that handicap with abit mroe playing time

i find that ive dropped 7shots in 8months and it has been no issue whatsoever, and ive won 3comps and came second at a tough local open since christmas so no doubt ill be able to drop a few more over this coming season.

just believe in your own ability and go for everything when your out on the course

its too late to have swing thoughts or mini mental lessons when your in a comp so just leave that stuff for the practice ground and you'll never have to fight the mental demons like some of my friends are having too.

That is pretty good round there. The wind down the road at Ascot was really tough, especially on our front nine so to go that low in those conditions is really good play - well done and I hope you get the cut it deserves.
