I think I've died and gone to heaven

Just had a look at their website... that'll be $495 for the round. :mmm:

If you do play it Hawkeye, we're expecting the mother of all reviews!

EDIT: if you stay at their hotel, you get a free cart though. Cheapest room = $715 ;)

I have to admit the price is a bit of an issue for me, I always said I would never pay silly money for a round of golf but Pebble Beach is the course I've always said I'd splash out on and it's not like I'm gonna get the opportunity too often is it. At least I've got 3 years to save up

Does it have to be California and Pebble Beach. I can understand why you'd want to go there and it looks fabulous every time you see it in pictures or on TV but surely there must be equally top drawer US courses at a better price so you/she isn't breaking the bank, nice though the chance is.

By the way, aren't your dogs friendly once they get to know you

My cousin is a member in Pebble beach,I have never had the joy of playing there but my dad has and he said its 1 of the nicest places he has been to. Majestic is what he called it. Best of luck and I hope you enjoy it. The word jealous springs to mind.

On a side note,my cousin comes back to Ireland every year for a few wks and any course I take him to here he gets free green fee's when they hear he is a member in Pebble Beach. Paying big subs at Pebble Beach has its perks I suppose.haha
