I hate this time of the year

On the course today, yup it was cold. Plenty of layers on and played a two ball for the first time today. Loved it. Nice and steady. Looking at the trees changing colour, orange, ambers,Reds, all shades of green and brown.looked gorgeous. Yup don't mind days like today.

Some first world problems going on there, by the sound of it.

Low blood sugar for whatever reason is no joke. I have spells when it's an issue and diet won't solve it, so I always carry a pack of dextrose tabs, a sugary drink and usually a health type bar (one with a bit of chocolate in, that's the healthy bit!)
Take one and a drink at the very first sign of symptoms.

Not sure about weeks for an hour change, but it can take me a week to adjust coming back from west coast US, if I've been there a while.

As for driving, you'll need to break out the Foster Grants!

I hate the clocks changing, massively so.

It takes me about 4-6 weeks to adjust.

Forcing myself to stay awake last night so I did not wake too early this morning (fat chance).

Food cycle all out of kilter, started to get the shakes going round the course today , then remembered I should have eaten my lunch a few holes earlier because it in fact a hour later.

Last few holes we could feel the temperature had dropped markedly so.

Driving home very unpleasant with the low sun straight in to my eyes.

If experiencing low blood sugar or hypoglycaemia in the case of diabetes the last thing you want to be taking is chocolate. The oils in chocolate delay the absorption of the cocoa goodness into the bloodstream.

I never even think about getting used to the clock. I'm used to it pretty much the same/following day. I can't quite understand how a one hour change can have that much of an impact.
Is it physical or psychological?

Having grandkids overnight when the clocks go forward. They are 3 and 5 years old. They cannot tell the time yet, it takes you about 20 seconds to adjust. Wouldn't recommend it though.

Good point! The ones I have, have only got a little bit in and the other glucose manages to do the job, but I may delay the bar until the dextrose has done it's job in future.
Thanks for the post.
