I have severe man flu, but I'm battling through against all the odds. I know, I'm brave.
I hope to be well enough for a round tomorrow lunchtime, but at the moment I couldn't carry my bag 5 yards, never mind 5 miles.
At least I've got a week to get right before the big Ho Ho.

Course closed due to snow and ice having only been open 1 day since last Saturday due to weather.

I'm also injured, undergoing physio for a back injury but cleared to return in the annual day after Boxing Day challenge with my pals from my previous club. Can't wait, will be just over 3 weeks since I last hit a ball when I return.

Good luck with the back. Mine is improving and I got out today. Hit a few balls yesterday but the swing is rusty and needs serious attention. Hoping it holds so I can get back to working on the changes I've been given to do

having a rest as played the last two days. plus Rupert was at training glasses again.

will be playing most days the next 3 weeks though

I'm still building the new kitchen....havent played for a month!
Course has had a couple of closed days (apparently) including the Seniors Christmas do which I had permission to play in...
Having read threads about shaking pitches and other horrors it will be with some trepidation that I do get back on course (when the kitchen is finally finished)

Not swung a club property for 3 weeks.

had a back 'twinge' a few weeks ago, and its been diagnosed as sciatica :(

constant pain even sitting and walking.

I signed up for a texas scramble on Xmas eve with my wife and son, and will attend, and play a little (I think the minimum is my 4 drives)

to say I am devastated .. is an understatement :(

Not played for 3 weeks. Weather has not motivated me to get out there plus had other things that needed doing and as I only have weekends, the couple of hours of daylight after I finish playing golf was not really enough time. Also been out for beers on a few Friday nights recently and would not risk driving to the club early Saturday morning.

Reckon it will be the end of the month before I play again.

Not surprising the course was closed last weekend and this, due to the snow and the rain/melting snow, its very wet here and had family to stay so wouldn't have been able to either way.

Hopefully get across to the sandy coast shortly and play golf, as missing the walk and buzz.

Been struggling with a muscle injury in my back so understand the frustration. Played on Saturday and was distinctly rusty although the frozen conditions didn't help. Tried to hit balls yesterday but not my finest session and timing out and too many moving parts Take it easy on Sunday and if you only hit the four tee shots, just enjoy being out and the company
