What's the quality of champkey grips like ?

The Traction X is the more budget model. But it is perfect for my low-use vintage clubs. They will see-me-out. Usually can be found for about £25 to £29 for 13.

I have put the wrap-style on my 21st century woods and hybrids and I am very pleased with them. About £35 for 13 on Amazon
The Y-Lite are very good. I put them on my 1986 Ping Eye2 BeCu irons. About £45 for 13 on Amazon.

A pack of 13 usually comes with tapes, solution and a knife for grip removal.

Never heard of them so did a quick google. They look good but who on earth thought of the model names?!?!?

They do give them all daft names but that doesn't really affect the glasses. The names have changed over time as well, as the ones I bought the first time are called something else now.

All I know is, they're only pair of shades I've ever had that (a) don't constantly slip down my nose and have to be pushed back up and (b) don't curve or distort my vision. I bought them originally for golf but as they surpass all the other shades I own I've been wearing them all the time, hence why I thought I'd get a second pair.

Set of graphite Callaway XR OS irons 5-PW, Ping G20 Driver and 3 wood, Benross 4 & 5 HTX hybrids. They’re all and inch shorter than standard so they’re ideal for Mrs M ladies clubs were little to light. Just need get her a SW and bag. Have blown her budget but she’s let me cover the rest after a few range sessions she saw the need for better quality over cheaper starter sets


Gonna change the grips for her as well so I’ll order those tonight and take the clubs with me to work and regrip them in my down time.

She can use one of my old putters for now and get her out on the course on next couple of weeks

G425 #2 hybrid. Bargain at £55 off eBay.

It’s a bit battered and bruised but purely cosmetic. The #3 is one of the best clubs in my bag, am hoping this will perform as well with a bit more distance.

Just ordered a second hand callaway 5 hybrid from golf bidder.
Have a yardage gap between my 7 wood and 6 iron (Cant hit my 5 iron to save my life) Hopefully this will fill the gap nicely, wanted to get a 9 wood but hardly any about.

My 7 wood and 5 hybrid go exactly the same distance, just a different flight, so still working out which will stay in the bag.

A 9 wood is another option.

I am also useless with a 5 iron.

What lofts do you have, my 7 wood is 21.5 and the 5 hybrid is 24 so I'm hoping the hybrid will be shorter! Its adjustable so can add a bit of loft perhaps.

7 wood for me is a 190-200 club, need something that goes around 175 - 180

Yes it’s a 21 and same 24. Could adjust but not to get any benefit (for me anyway).

I’d say don’t a reduced height with the hybrid, they’ll be pretty close.
