I bought today.....

How many of us amateurs have ever hit one of those chipshots that we see on TV, where it stops dramatically near the hole on the second or third hop?
I saw the wife do one out of a bunker, then the lady we were with did one about three holes later. Oviously to much mirth and ribbing. " you'll have to show us how you do those shots" lol

I know you love a bargain, have you given the Taylormade RBZs a go? £18 on Amazon, appreciate you're better than me but I find they're a good alternative to the more expensive ones.
Oooo love those. I can them to stop on greens. Unfortunately I've got literally hundreds of balls to use up before I can even consider actually buying some.

Another day spending more than I need to; bought 2 Titleist Players 4 Stand bags. Been after the Eucalyptus one for a while since I saw someone post in on here a few weeks ago and it’s always been out of stock but finally found 1! Literally last I could find on the internet so I ordered it, also bought the exact same bag in Indigo and finally got the Dozen Pink Splatter Supersoft balls Mrs M wanted.

Had to post the pictures as they’re just a thing of Beauty! I haven’t decided which one is for me and which is for Mrs M though I think she’ll want the Eucalyptus just so I can’t have it 🤣 I’d be happy with either though 😍

The eucalyptus is boss

It’s literally one of the nicest bags I’ve ever seen. First time I saw it was someone posted it in here. Ever since I’ve pretty much googled it daily to see if available and it’s been constantly sold out until I found 1 today literally the only one so had to buy it 🤣
You’re welcome ! It was me who posted 😂

I use Triad balls and really happy with them . I’m knocking on now (60)& 9.4 hcp and need a ball that gives a straight longish ball that is also spinny around the greens .
I’ve used the Triad since it came out and haven’t changed since, it’s a great ball with the added bonus you can shout “Wilson!?” when you hook one into the water….a la Tom Hanks from Castaway…
I've been using the Triad for a few months now. Used to use the Chrome Tour but wanted something well....cheaper.

The Triad is a very good golf ball indeed...seems to have relatively low driver spin so keeps reasonably straight...maybe not awfully spinny around the greens but most folk leave the ball short of the hole, so perhaps greenside spin is something that many amateurs put too much emphasis on.
Used the Triad yesterday for the first time and was really happy with it. Just as you guys said, nice straight flight with the drive, even held pretty straight when the wind was up which is great for me. Sounds nice when you strike it, it's not quite as soft as the ball I was using before. It was holding the greens brilliantly as well - granted they've softened up a bit compared to a few weeks ago, but I was still surprised I even held a couple of greens that slope front to back. Looks like a winner to me.

I have been playing them all season and I am probably playing them next season given the 2 dozen I received as my birthday present. I have to ask my parents for golf balls as my wife refuses .. she doesn’t understand they get knackered.. so i occasionally spray some onto the range. ( this is after 5 rounds - average 200 strikes and 200putts )

I bought the Wilson Staff model back in Feb, got 3 dozen in a deal where it worked out £25 per pack, really impressed with it and definitely will be buying more, still got a pack of 3 left!

Got the 'deluxe' umbrella holder for my Stewart trolley. Crucially it's about 2 inches taller than the standard one, so I hopefully won't need to crouch when using it to see where I'm going anymore. Looks like I may need it tomorrow as well... When I'm breaking Stewart's rules and using my brolly holder while in motion, that is.

AG have been sold out of Triads at my local store for 2 weeks. People are cottoning on

I got a brolly with a couple of clear panels on it. Cheaped out and bought a Stromberg one from Amazon which was half the price of the Motocaddy one. So far I've used it twice which is double the amount of times I got out of the J.Lindeberg brolly I had before it.

I had an umbrella with the clear panels on it once. The umbrella rotated in the holder so the clear panel never stayed at the front. Useless.
