I bought today.....

At the moment.....probably going to go with the 925 HL. Not much in it with landing angle, spin a bit better with the Mizuno. I think through Hotgolf they are about £139 each and I really only need 4 clubs (7-pw).....longer than the 7 iron I'm into hybrids and lofted woods. If I'm amazed with the 7 iron I can always add the 6. Happy enough with the wedges I have, but likely to make some changes there in a few months. Thinking about the KBS Tour lite-regular with the shaft....anybody have any input there? There are a bazillion choices on the site for shafts. Also thinking about having the toe put up 1 degree since most of my misses tend to be right with my short clubs.

Wish there was a mega Mizuno fitting store nearby but......none that I know of. Out by York there is an American Golf....but the last couple of times I went there I thought it was pretty useless for fitting (it's been a few years).

Fulford GC and Tour Issue Golf Ltd in York both do Mizuno fitting and Moor Allerton in Leeds is a Performance Centre.

Also, given the irons are HL, C-taper lite regular or Nippon Pro Modus 105 regular might work better to not launch too high and control the spin better.
Might!

You do realize I don't have any irons in the bag...right? I'm just not right in the head.

I am lusting after a new putter as well though.....maybe a new ER2 with the weights.....
If you're looking for a new putter the Mizuno M-Craft X 4P looks and feels STUNNING!!!

Make sure to let us know!
Well.....it cost £35 for the fitting. I......hated them. It's always hard for me to do a fitting because I use huge grips and going to standard grips is just horrible for me. My cheapie Eleven brand irons didn't hit as far, but launch angle was a good 5 degrees higher and probably a couple thousand more rpm than the Mizuno HL irons. And....if I hadn't had beer last night I'd sure be having some tonight......another big negative with fittings is that I find out how much older and weaker I am. VERY low 70's for clubhead speed with a 7 iron. Well....saved me over £500 I guess.
