I bought today.....

After doing a 4 for 3 search last night for left dashes I cheaped out when one of the searches led me to eBay. I bought 48 pearl left dashes for £80 after using a code eBay gave me "RALLY15" which knocked £15 off the £95 asking price. I just hope these "pearl" ones are better than the last lot I bought from eBay 2 years ago (AVX that time) as I think the guy must have washed them in bleach or sandblasted them to get them looking like new as the covers basically disintegrated after 1 round. Some of them I had to replace during the round the cover got that bad. Current left dash has lasted 3 rounds and is now only showing signs of wear.

Isn't that the lowest spinning ball, when you were just complaining you can't stop it on your greens? 😬 😛

Honestly you could be using an old balata ball and it ain't stopping on our greens at the moment. It's like landing on a table top and they are quick as well. It's only April and the course is looking like it's in June/July condition with how firm and bouncy it is in places. The couple of holes that are further in land still have a bit of give in the fairways (you can take a divot) but the holes that are close to the coast the fairways are pretty firm already.

On Trackman I'm still getting plenty of spin with my irons with the left dash, 9 iron was around 8K, PW was 9K, GW 9.5K, 54 and 58 were over 10K. Still no shot of them stopping quick, even on nicely hit shots you are playing for 10 yards of release.

Not had the drip ones before but thought they looked pretty cool. Hopefully it doesn't act too much like camouflage!

Was tempted to buy the full lime green ones - I use them in winter, but they'd be perfectly good through summer too, so hi-vis. Do like a white (or mostly white) ball though

Nice - I'm using these ones right now:

I like the design, it's quite subtle in these colours, but also means I haven't had to bother marking my ball since it's highly unlikely anyone is using these in one of my club comps.
I previously used the black and red drip design and didn't like them as much. I think the black was too dark and just made them look dirty, whereas these ones just have a nice citrusy tinge to them.

Today I bought many things from County Golf.
All for the youth - he was starting ro look like the young boy from East is East with his green Adidas hoodie the only golf top he had to wear.

Kitted out now with plenty of gear - we’ll just have to pretend that we went to the Ryder Cup in Italy..

A bacon and egg sandwich! Sounds random but my clubhouse has been closed a few months as the redevelop it. It’s great to be getting to the course early and having a butty and a chat before warmup

The same Adidas Originals Navy polo that Aberg wore in the final round courtesy of Patrick Reed placing top 3 and Rory winning

Free top in my mind..
