I was thinking perhaps the new R7, I don’t need it I just like it. But today in Dartmouth I walked past an art gallery and was just blown away by a painting.. and I asked my wife if she liked it and she did. I chose to walk away and think about it, but in the end my wife said get it because I would regret it. So I got it. It’s a small piece by Jan Nelson and it’s a sailing picture from her new collection.

Two pairs on UA shorts at my mates pro shop because they had my size and I got a decent discount. Oh and it's warming up. Oh and was in a good mood because I won.

Mizuno ST230 Max 5w Tensei 55 shaft.

My 7 year old M4 is looking worse for wear and the Mizunos are very reasonably priced.

Was speaking to my pro today about them. He said they won't be around long..mizuno are selling the stock off for the next model to come out. He's holding a 3 wood aside for me to adjust to my specs lol 🤣

I went to Golfworx based at Boldon Golf Club, Boldon Tyneside
Do they have any of the fancy putting measuring gear? I've had a look around and the places I've seen that have stuff to measure you are Close House, Hexham and Linden Hall. I'm thinking of going for a putting lesson somewhere and wouldn't mind getting some details on what I'm doing wrong.

The fitting was done by an associate named Stuart, who plays for the Durham County Seniors. Very experienced and knows his stuff.
Went through my approach to putting and gave me very valuable advice.
He filmed me putting whilst also using a long piece of string attached to 2 tee pegs. He watched how the putter moved back, through and forward down the line, and how the ball tracked the line.
While there were no fancy gadgets, he was able to identify which putter suited me, which was a different model to the one I would have chosen.
I was very impressed by him.
