To be fair, I sell to buy but this was just not ordered as my iron set started with a 6 iron - hybrid was the 5 iron replacement and I can't stand it, but will keep that one.

How are you getting on with these? Be interested to knowExciting day for me. Bought a new set of irons, Cleveland Halo XL. They are a bit different, look up the reviews online. My regular pp bought some earlier this year and they have made a big difference to his game. I've had a few hits with his and they are so easy to hit it's ridiculous. Instant height, good distance. I've even got them with seniors, graphite shafts. Future proofing
To make things even better, I've been following a set for a week or so on GC4C, went to pull the trigger this morning, and discovered they are giving 15% off for BF. Very happy
Only arrived yesterday, annoyingly won't get out until a week on Saturday to try them out. The hits I've had with my friends clubs have been very promising but then we all know that someone else's clubs work better than your own, even when identical
. I'll post back, in reviews, after I've used them a few times.

My best rounds have been with foundlings and budget balls. I'm not a golf ball snob so I've just taken the plunge on 6 dozen Ram balls from their website for £45.

A matching 3 iron shaft for my set and some nice ferrules. I'm going to re-grip the irons with my favourite grips, Lamkin Hybrid +2. I am also going to soft step the irons, which will also lengthen them by 0.5 inches at the same time.
I have bought some shaft extenders, but soft stepping them does two jobs at once.

Callaway 8 Razr iron, will also buy a 6 iron. Then sell my current irons, as I only use the 6 and 8 anyway, and was looking for suitable replacement game improvement, graphite shafted clubs. And also to spend as little as possible.
