I have been using a aluminium Dunlop two wheeled trolley since I started playing golf.
It is nice & light & has done me well, but I fancied something a bit better.

Anyway, I decided I didn't want a electric trolley so it came down to a choice between the Clicgear 3.0 or the Stewart Z1.

The Stewart Z1 won the vote due to the fact that it folded up very small, it was slightly cheaper & there was a special offer on at the moment (winter hedgehog wheels at half price)
It certainly looks a nice bit of kit & I am going to give it a try out tomorrow.

Niiiice,

I've always liked the Clicgear, but after seeing the Stewart Z1, if I was in the market for a push trolley, this would be the one!

Well thought out design and good quality.

Expecting a review tomorrow.

yes how much did it set you back??

£199 including the original wheels + 3x Hedgehog wheels & delivery.
The trolley is £159 on it's own & the Hedgehog wheels are usually an extra £79, but they were doing an offer on the Hedgehogs for £40 if you bought the trolley at the same time.
I have noticed a few courses lately that ban trolleys in winter unless you use Hedgehogs.

it is one of the dearer push trolleys on the market, but as I absolutely hate carrying, & since you only buy a trolley once in a blue moon then I thought I may as well get a quality one & at the same time support a local UK company.

I tried it out today, it is brilliant, it just glides over the turf & is extremely light & easy to push & supremely stable, the bag doesn't move about either. (I had to tie my bag to my old trolley to stop it moving)
Hopefully it will give me years of good service & I don't have the hassle of charging batteries, or it going flat half way around & I don't have to shell out to buy a new trolley battery every couple of years.

Really happy that the Stewart Z1 is getting such good feedback. When I was helping get prizes etc for the Forum Help For Heroes meet last year the MD of Stewart golf was really helpful and a pleasure to deal with. He sent one of these trollies on white and it looked a stunning bit of kit. Stewart seem like a really nice company to deal with so hears hoping that these prove to be a big seller.
