I have had a real slump recently. The holes where driver is too much club or I'm around 210/220 yards from the green laying up or hitting 5 Iron off the tee down to the fact my 4 Iron(Titleist CB 714) even when I feel like I'm striking it ok is just going absolutely no where. I have had hybrids in the past and always just thought of them as a novelty rather than a necessity.

Now I am at the conclusion I should take the plunge and get one.

Any suggestions ?

Cheers

I've an Adams XTD Ti 18* hybrid that's adjustable aswell if you're interested?

Really nice club but I've completely given up on hybrids now I've got a TMB in my life :)

They way see it you play 14 clubs as it is so you either need to drop a wedge or change the top end. How big is the gap between your fairways? I'd be tempted to put in a 4 wood and a 21 degree hybrid. Adams do awesome hybrids

I was against the hybrids as was really happy with my 714 AP2 3i, but needed something I can use from the light rough as well - got 816 H1 21* and it has become one of the most dependable clubs in the bag.

I wasnt sure how I would get on with a hybrid so I picked up a TM SLDR 19 degree thats adjustable +- 1.5 degrees from hotgolf for £65. Its the tp version with the better shaft and I love it!

I find it pretty easy to hit.

Definitely try the adams hybrids. I picked up the tight lies 2 from sports direct and they're great clubs. I've also got the 3 and 5 woods
