How would you like these stats?

Smash is the relationship between forward ball speed and clubhead speed. I'll try to explain......

Clubhead speed 100mph with launch angle of 0 degrees and smash of 1.50 is 100 x 1.5 = 150 mph

But as loft increases, the FORWARD speed of the ball decreases because some of the speed is converted into upward motion.

So the figures now change slightly. Not sure of the exact formula but the concept is correct.

He is trying to get on the long drive circuit but needs his ball speed to be over 200mph to be competitive. His driver is also 4 degree and is suffering with too little spin (sometimes top spin) to be consistent enough when you only get 6 hits

Hmm 6 up and 197 mph... hes not far off.
