• Thank you all very much for sharing your time with us in 2025. We hope you all have a safe and happy 2026!

How many wouldnt change their current bag.

Might treat myself to a new ball this weekend.

Was shanking, topping and thinning every iron in the bag last night at the range. On the way out there was a set of Nike split cavities going for £230 odd. Was very tempted, just to change something. New stuff always works.
Anyway, have put my Titleist ZBs back in the bag, and will try those out tonight. Probably find they go fine, and I'll leave them in for a bit.

Often a change freshens things up.

If I buy anything else, probably another couple of shafts for my 910. I love the whole interchangeable thing. Nothing wrong with a bit of a fiddle. Quite fancy a project X, and may be a Javeln.

And there was you trying to buy my mp32 bladed 2 iron :)

One day :)

To be honest, I've developed that many swing faults that I really didn't know about. Bringing those to light really messed with my head and my game last season. Before my long game went to pot I had a bash with Bob's Taylor Made 1 and 2 iron blades. Lovely clubs. Would definitely prefer a bladed club or proper iron over a hybrid, but I need to get some confidence in my swing before I can attempt that.

Quite happy with what I have now after a lot of tinkering! There are things I would like but not desperate, like a 3h the same as my 2h and new, matching wedges but that's it. If I don't get them then I'm happy enough.

Can't stop looking at irons though the "shiny devil" on my shoulder keeps talking about Cobra Pro CBs/MBs or Titleist MBs........

Definitely not changing my putter for a long time to come though, found one that works well so going to stick with it.

I loosley have what I think I need. I have 15 clubs and chose between a 1 iron and hybrid depending on the course and weather.

I am still not toally convinved with the Ping I15 3 wood I have. It has 15 deg loft and looks a bit small to me and consequently harder to hit. I am toying with the idea of a G15 4 wood (not one of those shut things), same stock stiff shaft etc. A bit more loft and it looks to me to be a bit easier to hit off of the deck.

Ive got high hopes for the HCP taking a dive downwards next year (famous last words I know) and apart from the above I feel have the right gear for me to do this.

Very happy with everything in my bag and see no reason even think about changing anything.

Today.

Tomorrow......
Who knows..?

I have said it before, I love the feeling of going out with a new club in the bag so pretty much nothing is safe in my bag. Next job is to sort my wedges to get more even spacings. I suppose that the last club I would consider changing is my putter.

It would be a sad day for me when I could admit that nothing in my bag needed tinkering with.

If I had the money I'd give serious consideration to a set of Titleist 712MBs.

It's not often I change irons and there is nothing wrong with my S59s but it's nice to get some shiney new bats isn't it

I am happy with my set up at the moment - not looking at changing any clubs, which gave me a problem as I got a batch of AG vouchers for my Birthday and HID wanted to get my Xmas sorted also.

So ended up splashing out on shoes and clothes. The FJ contours I picked up were unbelievably comfortable - I just couldn't put them back on the shelf and at £65 instead of £85 they were a must. Then some Underarmour coldgear to keep me playing through the big chill and I am sorted.

Happy with my Irons and Woods. All I'd like to add to the bag is a 910 hybrid to get that little extra height off the deck. I'll be picking one up in Jan, was going to hold off till they put the RIP shaft into their hybrids as that works like a charm for me.

the only thing i have changed recently is my Ogio carry bag i found on ebay for a tenner... i doubt i'll ever go back to a trolley now, for some reason i just love carrying.. My wedges might need changing next year as the sweet spot is getting a bit worn (not sure how), but everything else can stay. I tried a new titleist 910D2 last month, but prefer my cally FT9.. If I was going to spend some money it would be on lessons or trying some new courses..

Would change the sand wedge for one I feel comfortable with, meaning I can drop the lob wedge and get a gap wedge.

2 clubs out of 14 isn't bad. I'm very happy with the rest, especially the Callaway 2H!
