Not overly keen on KP. Clubhouse however would grace any course. Do they still have the daft par 3 that you have to walk back the entire length of to play the next?

Easingwold is a lovely track once you get past the first 3 or 4 holes which are a just up and down and bland. Rest of it reminds me a bit of Fulford- without the hefty
price tag.
Last time I played kilnwick Percy the clubhouse was a portacabin🤣

KP used to be a portakabin when it first started but they sold out and the new owners built a pretty big clubhouse / wedding venue.

Used to be a member when it first opened and still play it a few times a year. It's much better now and there's some nice holes.

Yes it was back in the 90's but has steadily grown in stature & is now owned by a holiday park company, Darwin Escapes who, in the last few years, have also done the same with Dundonald Links

Yep, KP has loads of Holiday cabins now.
Members used to get very cheap rates at Dundonald but I think they've ramped up the rates somewhat.

Played Halifax (Ogden) this morning for the first time. Loved it. If you like a moorland style course you'll love it. I paid £25 this morning to play and it's in excellent condition.

Only a slight breeze so not too bad but think it'll be a beast in some wind. Greens very good. Course was dry as a bone. Nice variety of holes throughout the course and easy enough to walk despite a few climbs. Picturesque views from all over the course too. Definitely one to consider.
