Ok so for once I'm in a really strange place, and I've only just noticed it. Last night the misses and i were talking about Christmas and she asked what i wanted... did i need anything etc and she said what about clubs.

Last year she brought my wedges and i think she was hoping there would be something new on the market that would give her some idea's for gifts.... NOPE... nothing.... niche....nudda.

She looked at me and laughed and said " that's the first time i've ever known you not to be looking at newer stuff on the market ".

then it dawned on me, im actually content and not looking for new shiny bats, even last night while shopping for hybrids with a mate, i didnt find myself looking at anything. the only thing that i did notice was a very nice looking finishing on some rife putters... but not even a practice stroke with them.

I rarely change clubs anyway so I am with you in that I am not looking for stuff. That said, if I could find a 3 iron loft hybrid like the 2 iron lofted one I have then I would probably buy it. I haven't been able to find one though...

I'm happy with everything I have in my bag now, I might take the 4i out and put a 5w/2h in but I can't really justify it.

see the only thing i wouldnt mind trying is a 910 driver, but after changing from the burner to teh r11, and my driving falling apart, its took a long while to get it back on track, and i dont want to risk putting it all to pot again.

Id love a burner 3i, but everywhere ive looked, i cant find one. maybe start emailing the ebayers with complete sets to see if they will sell this on its own.

i have a lovely Mizuno leather tour bag in staff colours BUT its just old enough to not feature waterproof zips or a cool pocket so i think i might change just to get those things!

Wouldn't change what I currently have, but I have a huge gap between 3wood and 3 iron, so will probably fill that with an ugly but easy to hit 17 degree Hybrid at Christmas.

Other than that, I'm set for now. Will probably look to get a shiney new set of irons for my 30th in 2 and a half years. But that will depend on how much I'm playing and how well I'm playing.

I'm nearly there. Content with the 13 clubs that I have in my bag. I just can't decide what to go with for last club. Maybe another wedge or a 5w.

Open to anything at the moment though the Driver is still fairly fresh this year.
I had been looking on ebay etc at new irons I have to say as I have had the AP2s now for pretty much 3 years.
The only club I would struggle to change is my putter at the moment, one of the best buys I have ever made.

Happy with the driver, 3 wood and wedges. Will upgrade the hybrid to a 910 when I find one with the right shaft going cheap, will stick with the 909 till then. I change putter too often anyway, have just started gaming a new Scotty so happy with that for now. Just leaves the irons. By far the oldest components in my bag but seen very little on the market I prefer to them, possibly the Razx Xforged or the 712MBs but for now will stick with what I have

Couldn't find any consistency with it after the honeymoon period was over. To be honest, it was more my swing than the club I think as I struggled with most of my long clubs towards the end of the season. It's now with Region3, so it's gone to a good home. Should update my sig really.

Fundy i like your style, only played around with the Razx Forged iron, and it was a good swing day, but jesus that thing is a club of beauty, but at £700+ a set HID would blow and oring if she saw them on the credit card bill...

Meh I am happy enough although I will probably look at new irons in the new year as I like the shiny thing, no real reason to change.
