Very Briefly ..........

Man buys golf club
Golf club arrives - its faulty
Golf club sent back to large manufacturer
Replacement comes - its faulty
Golf club sent back to large manufacturer
Replacement comes - it has got he wrong shaft
Golf club sent back to large manufacturer..........

Manufacturer promises upgrade

Elapsed time one month and 8 days and still no golf club

How long before you should buy a gun and go postal ?????

Homer - already have done sir blah blah blah we will look after you even spoke to some head of projects international under water basket weaving exec. Rang a left another message today as everyone senior was at a project launch

Imurg - Could not possible comment - names change to protect the innocent and all that :D

Welshjim - Cant as i have now left reseller world and am dealing with the company direct - and if they ever send the damn thing this unamed person wants and its right he would be very very happy..............

A titleist rep came to my old club and during that day I got fitted for a driver. Order driver a week later after much work on HID comes with the wrong head - d2 not d3 (two weeks) then the next one came wrong shaft (4 weeks) the next club came wrong shaft and wrong head (7 weeks) after the fourth club came and was wrong I cancelled the order and started again almost 3 months in total.
 
Jeez - perhaps i should shut up then and wait paitently - did you get any compo like 4 dozen pro v1's ?
 
To be honest I would have been on their backs after a couple of weeks. If something that I have ordered and waited for is wrong or faulty then I want a new one sent out straight away. I am pretty impatient when it comes to these things.
 
Yup compensation abc possibly upgrade foc. The wait you have experienced in my opinion is not acceptable. Any of my customers would have been offered some sort of compensation whether it be product upgrade of some free product like caps, balls, bag etc

Got the shaft for free and a dozen balls so not so bad saved nearly €200

alternatively . . . go on website, find out bosses name,
phone/fax/text* give dates, names etc if possible, if no response within 24 hours - repeat

* you could ask him if he has any vacancies for fools and idiots as it seems that is all he employs. (used it once myself with an insurance company - problem solved in 24 hours)
 
I would just get on the phone and stay there until I had a solution. I find that you normally need to speak to at least 2 or 3 people before you get to someone senior enough to actually make a decision and do something about your problem

I was having an issue with a large, online IT retailer with regard to a fault mobile phone. I've been arguing with them for a week. Turns out the big tall one off of Dragon's Den owns them, so I email him.

I received my refund within the hour.
