I'm not talking about school exam results......washing machines !!!

I saw a washing machine for sale which had an "A" energy rating and I thought brill

Then I discover that "A" in the bottom rating

They then go
A+
A++
A+++

Who dreams up this stuff?
Whatever happened to A,B,C,D ?

A1, B1, C1, D1..............you fill in the rest

I wouldnt touch a W/M under A+++ - gotta save the whales man................/puffs reefer

I am going to Wales shortly - but I will cross that bridge when I come to it.

(Sorry - couldnt resist!)

As for washing machines I am clueless! Will have to unchain the wife and ask her.....................

We're in the market for a new washing machine (And fridge freezer) and have settled on one that's A+ grade.

I doubt we'd notice the difference in energy saving to warrent doubling, or therabouts, the price to get the A++ option.

I couldn't agree more. My W/M (not that I could tell you how to use it) is A+. I expect that's now in planet-destroying territory. Probably costs the same to run per year as a Toyota Landcruiser.

Which is the same as a dog, apparently.

My dog's food is 20 pence a litre. Should I be giving him unleaded?

Our has dies too. OK it still goes but proceeds to chuck water all over the floor every time. HID has seen some A+++ Bosch which Which rates as very good but it doesnt come cheap. None of the A+++ models do but I don't know enough about them to have a care as long as HID knows how it works
