How far do you live from your course?

Just interested to know how far away you live from your course, I'm currently looking to join a new course which is about 30 min drive away... bit further than I'd like, especially because I just moved house and was previously only 10 minutes from the place!

7 miles! 10 mins drive, 15-20 in really bad traffic

I have two courses closer but both are at least 30% more for annual membership or are too snooty or get really boggy when it rains.

My home course is on chalk and drains really well, the extra few mins in the car is worth it, it adds up to about £30 more a year in fuel if I go 150 times!

20-25 minute drive down the M5. Probably the max distance I'd go, but the membership costs were so cheap, it balances out.

Living in Fulham always means a longer drive to play. There are loads of courss closer but much much more expensive. Considering moving to a closer club this year

Jesus... is that what happens when you become a golf enthusiast. Top 3 home requirements- 3 Bedrooms, Garage and within 10 mins of a golf course!!! Should never have moved house

About 9 miles, ten to fifteen minutes depending On traffic, as I play a course in the parkland it's usually people out on a Sunday drive around!
