Basically I've been an idiot and snapped the screw in the 910 titleist I just bought my brother. I am hoping I can get the screw out and just replace that but the thread also may be goosed. Can get full adapters and screws on eBay but have no idea how to replace

you need it professionally done really mate. not only do you need to have the shaft removed from the adapter correctly but you also have to sand off the old glue and drill the glue out from inside the tip of the shaft. the loose glue inside the shaft will need blowing out with an air gun.

a local club builder will charge you £5 to £10

A better and easier option (all be it more expensive) might be just to look for a new shaft with a 910 adapter fitted.

so Its cheaper to buy a new shaft with a fitting already on than pay a club builder £10 to swap one over??

That's not what I said, read it again. I said an easier all be it more expensive option. You can pick shafts up with adaptors fitted for as little as £20 or £30 in some cases
