Hooray.

It's just a shame he's still doing the World Cup. He really should be consigned to the BBC archive with the rest of the Wooden Tops ;)

I'm sure that Hazel used to play at Cardross before she moved down South.

As long as Boo doesn't call her ma'am again this year if she interviews him again. Okay, he was showing respect, but oor Hazel's just a young thing ;)

Yep, another vote for Ken Brown as part of the commentary team. Keep Sam out of it as much as possible.

Afterall, all credibility went when tried to sell us a K1 Speed Driver :D

We need good, knowledgable commentators and on course analysts to keep us informed. That way the beeb can limit the "foot in mouth" approach of a rather ageing Peter Allis. Yes, lets hear him, in short measures, but let's bring in new blood. He has had his day.

I agree that Alliss is starting to show his age and I like Brown. Torrance seems to try too hard to and seems to be trying an Alliss type approach with unfunny anectdotes etc. I'm not sure Hazel is the saviour. She is good but I reckong someone like Chris Evans would be ideal. Golf nut and use to live work

Get the champagne out, put the flags up, organise the street party. This is the best golfing news of the decade. :D Whoever takes over the anchor role, whether it be Hazel, Sam, Ken or Mr Blobby, they'll be far....far....far better than Lineker. My personal choice would be to get Steve Rider back if they can.

Homer - Chris Evans !!! :D If that's not drink talking, or if you're not taking the --ss, then you seriously need professional help. Out of 10,000 posts, that has to be your craziest suggestion....ever.

I love en Brown, but not sure he would be a great presenter. I would really miss "Ken on the Course" and the like.
Chris Evans is not that bad a shout (I'm with you Homer), but Steve Rider would be a welcome return.
Hazel is good, but does not really excite me... How about Kirsty Gallagher with Steve Rider.
