That’s why I’m asking now tbh. Our refund from August has just been sent back to the bank.

Just wondering whether to rebook or try an join west lancs ?

Not booking anything abroad for the foreseeable. This thing will still be causing problems well into next year as the vaccination program will take at least a year to be completed in this country, never mind the rest of the world.
IMO, anyone who admits to booking a holiday now should be banned from moaning on the Random Irritation thread when they get cancelled/have to quarantine etc ?

This. We’ll be sticking to domestic breaks this year once things start to open up a bit. Have risked booking a couple of concerts, but won’t be touching holidays for a while.

My first holiday will be in the same county as I live and not for 10 months or so, that's how confident I am.

Easy choice join West Lancs !(y)

Already booked a week in Rhodes next october. Its covered for covid cancellation but hoping things will be better, if not normal, by then. Was planning to sneak off for a cheeky round until I read the reviews of the only course on the island!:LOL:

Booked accommodation for Majorca in June and Portugal in September - all fully refundable.
Not booked flights yet. But for our dates the prices have gone up and down twice since August.

Cottage booked in the new forest in June ( rolled over from this year ) won't be booking anything else just yet.

Booked two weeks in a Devon cottage in June. Rolled over a one week break in Portugal in April with our young granddaughter from last summer but no doubt that will be moved again.

We have just started looking but not booked anything yet. The scary part is the cost of flights. They have gone up big style. Fewer flights right now pushing prices up. We may well book the accomodation and leave the flights until more plane routes are back in action.

Our Alaska cruise and Rocky Mountaineer cancelled from June 2020, rebooked to 2021 has just been cancelled and I think we may not go too far afield until later in the year when were booked for Cyprus

We were planning on booking a week in Rhodes in May - cover cases are very low there and it was an amazing deal, with private pool etc, so minimising contact with others. However, between booking and confirmation, the price rocketed so we have pulled out. Don't think we will look at anything else now until much later in the year. Its the flight that puts me off really. Once you are at the destination at least you can be careful and not take any undue risks, even if it has calmed down a bit by then with vaccines being rolled out.

This year's Portugal golf trip in September got canned, so switched the flights and accommodation to September next year. I'm a category 6 so fairly confident I'll have the jab by then.
