Hi

We are looking for a golf break probably in March

Ideally 3 nights with lots of golf. We are happy to play 36 holes per day to get the most out of it.

Heard Marrakesh is nice and good value? Any others? Also who would you book with? DIY or golf holiday company

Thanks

C

Following this as I'm looking to do the same. This year 4 of us went Portugal via a travel company but I think it'll probably be cheaper to organise it ourselves next year, looking at March too.

I was looking at Marrakesh for our annual trip but having researched the courses I was put off by the reports on the club houses, food, drinks and service. Being used to Quinta do Lago our standards ate quite high so binned the idea. Back to Portugal next year, this time Amondoeira

Having played two of the Quinta da Lago courses in the past year (I’ve played all of them many years ago) and also having visited Marrakech on a few occasions in the past three years, I can immediately think of 3 courses in Marrakech with as good if not better clubhouses and service as well as more interesting courses than QDL.

Which courses would you recommend? Always looking for ideas for new experiences in the future. Just read a lot of poor reviews whereas our experiences at QDL have always been top notch, if not the cheapest

Royal Palm ( we have stayed a few times at the Fairmont there - stunning).
Royal Marrakech.
Assoufid.
All really good courses, great conditioning, beautiful clubhouses, good service and a fascinating place to visit.

We went last January to Marakkesh and really enjoyed , booked again for next January. We played Sumanah , Assoufid ..
Hotel was great , weather perfect.
