Holes in one record?

We had round 1 of our club championships today and certainly had an historic moment and possibly a record of some kind.

The 8th hole is some 238 yards downhill, pin was set at the back of the green and was measured at 245yds. In the first three ball the 3rd person to tee off got an ace. In the following group, the ace scorer's son was the first to tee off and he also got an ace!

So, in consecutive tee shots on the same hole, albeit the players were not in the same group, first the father then the son both holed out from the tee.

Excellent!! Great hole as well. On the 12th at Woodhall Spa, 2 players aced in a matchplay.
