Just a bounce game, one of the guys I know joined me for the last ten holes so yes, I have a witness!

Regarding the conformity.... I'd played the first 16 holes from the yellow tees. We'd gotten to the 17th, where the white tees were located only around 10-12 yards back from the yellows (they're usually about 70yrds back from the yellows, the normal white teeing area is undergoing renovation at the moment). The lad I was playing with wanted to test a new club for yardage & suggested we hit one from the whites, I hole mine. Proceeded to play the 18th hole from the yellows. Now.... does the hole-in-one from the 17th conform?

Temp tee to temp winter green across a frozen 49yds - and after a few random bounces in it went. Don’t count it myself, but my rollup mates decided that it did and a bottle of Bells on the bar was in order…and I don’t even drink the stuff.

There's a reason for their enthusiasm 😄

I am reminded of a shot by one of my mates. Straight on to the front of the green rolled to the hole and in it went. Trouble was we were playing temp greens cut just in front of the main green

Congrats a hole in one is a hole in one in my eyes.
