For a variety of reason's I've not touched my clubs in about six weeks. Albeing well I am playing a new course tomorrow so though I better go to the range.

If anyone needs a confidence boost I advise finding a two tier range and going up stairs :D

I was pleased with how well I was striking the ball and hitting the ball from high up obviously hightened the flight and distance but man I feel good!!!

Hopefully I can keep the confidence for tomorrow and hit the ground running.

Conversely, there is nothing more depressing than standing on the tee looking straight into the side of a hill. Last hole at Pinner Hill you just hit your driver straight into the hill. It goes nowhere.

Or when you get on the flat and cream a drive that doesn't go as far from the elevated tee's, it brings you back down to earth with a bump!

will have to try that. Have enjoyed the wonders of playing the first 5 holes at Penrhos G&CC one year for a week & 4 out of those first 5 are straight upwards.

Theres a really high tee at st fillains loch earn, it sure makes you feel good as does one at comrie lol.

When I face uphill shots I just Drive as usual and accept it as I know everyone else has the same problem, chose the right club for your shot to the green and you will have an advantage over all those who feel a little depressed at their tee shot, who often under or over club with the next..
