I have played Tradition's a few times. Did they ever reduce the white tee on the 4th hole, about 80/100 yards behind the yellow over the water hazard to a fairway about 15 feet wide when it was wet. Absolutely rediculous position, i still think thats the narrowist fairway I have ever played.
A mate of mine used to hit the 16th in two over the lake,
tough hole that one with the tree in the middle, especially with the wind against.
Another time in the strong wind one of the guys nearly drove the 11th (i think) and then it took 4 mighty shots to come back up the par 5 12th.
They never use that ridiculous back 4th tee any more. For those of you who have never been there, it's a 220 yard carry to a fairway about 16 yards wide with trees either side and the right is out of bounds. It's hard enough hitting it with a 5-wood from the regular tee.
12 was downwind today so was over the back with a driver and 6-iron. 16 was two 7-woods, one into the ideal spot and the second one into the front bunker.
