Never done it before. I was bricking it on the final shot even if was only a gap wedge.

Made two birdies and had one-three putt for a gross 70 at Traditions in Surrey.

Anyone else done all 18 GRs in a round?

Not even close but I am going to join in the post to wish you a big congratulations, that is great work!!

I will do it one day!!! Pitch and putt maybe :o

Yes, but come undone by the crocodile on 9 and the windmill on 18 - gutted, especially as I was 1 away from the magical 59!! :D

Well done though - that's good going.

I have done 17 a few times but not the full house.Good shooting...was your putting crap then?

Hit a fair few yesterday but then again they are the hugest greens in world golf...in fact the few I missed were single greens at 1 and 17!

I seem to remember doing 18 greens one season a few years back...

N.B. This didn't quite come out right originally - I meant I once hit 18 greens over the course of one season, as anyone who's ever played with me will know that my chances of ever hitting 18 greens in one round are beyond laughably remote!

Yep drove it well all day. Trads has three par 4s with ditches across the fairway and each time nailed a 7-wood right into the perfect spot. Only thinking back now do I realise how many 12-15 footers I missed on the back nine.

I only realised I hadn't missed a green when I got through 14 but I was still -2 at the time and on to break 70. Then three jacked 17th because the green had just been watered and I came up way short with the first putt.

Trads is a fun course with a few difficult holes but a few others where you can really blast it without too much concern. Naturally I'll play the 1st hole at Pyrford tomorrow morning and miss the green in reg..... that's golf.

I'm at Pyrford the sister course but I get a bunch of free rounds at the other Crown courses so it's good to play for a change. Will play Milford Saturday evening.

Trads is in pretty good nick. Greens are at 3.5mm and running about 9, a foot slower than Pyrford. Some of the tees are a little scruffy but it's playing as well as it ever has.

Well done Paul.

I have played Tradition's a few times. Did they ever reduce the white tee on the 4th hole, about 80/100 yards behind the yellow over the water hazard to a fairway about 15 feet wide when it was wet. Absolutely rediculous position, i still think thats the narrowist fairway I have ever played.

A mate of mine used to hit the 16th in two over the lake, :) :) and i hit the power lines on the 17th once, :(tough hole that one with the tree in the middle, especially with the wind against.
Another time in the strong wind one of the guys nearly drove the 11th (i think) and then it took 4 mighty shots to come back up the par 5 12th. :D :D

Clearly 18 greens would just be a crazy dream for me.
Well done to you though.....you must have been hitting it wonderfully straight to do it.
Congrats.. :)

It usually takes me 3 rounds to hit 18 GIR :D my last 2 rounds I've hit 11 and 9 respectively though so things are starting to improve but I don't suppose I'll ever hit 18. That's some good golf.
