I was over in Villa Martin for a few weeks back in September and the father in law has a car out there so got to know the area well. Spent a fair bit of time at Cabo Roig particularly at the medical centre at the end of the strip. Where abouts in Cabo Roig are you. Oh and its Las Colinas not Las Ramblas that he prefers. Thanks for the offer of the lift. Im gutted they shut Murcia San Javier as it's just so easy and convieninet.

Stu: I would think he prefers Las Colinas..they used that on a recent Q School comp..it is good, so is the price - expensive, but you can get deals there every so often.

I'm a 6 minute walk from the Strip...6 minute there and about 10 minute back after a visit to the Bog Road pub!!

welcome Steve, you can keep us warm with pictures of you playing in shorts (just re-read that and it doesnt come across well) but you get my drift.
Loved my Spanish golf, played La Cala solid for 3 weeks and loved it, roasting hot and course almost to ourselves as we teed off at noon:rofl::whoo:

Ermmmmm, no it don't come across all that well if you are a bloke and straight lol. Yes, I do get your drift though and I do have a photo of the Roman ruins that they found on the Seve designed Akicante course, they date back to 1 BC, so they say. It's GUR as they are still working on it. I must download and put it on here.

Teeing off at noon is for tourists...it is bloody hot then, but it never bothers me, i just want to play golf.

I'm 60...61 in June. My mind doesn't think so, just the body disagrees with my mind, especially in the morning after a round of golf.

Blade..NO probs on arranging a meeting over here..how's about the 25th? All the courses will be empty!

That looks interesting Young Sir....only the other week did I suffer a round with 39 putts and still scored 34 to win my Division and a free round voucher for the course. Two 4 putts and three 3 putts. Last week, took my old putter out with me but still had two 3 putts...and only came second on count back.
